Social Impact in Social Corporate Responsibility

Learn from corporate professionals working on everything from building more diverse, inclusive, and healthy environments for employees to improving the environment and economic situations of the communities where they operate.

The Impact of Social Entrepreneurship

Is it possible to actually make a living and have a life once you graduate by turning your social impact idea into a real organization? This panel will consist of founders of social impact start-ups, illuminating the intense and rewarding road of inspiration, ideation, iterations, and implementation that new ventures face.

Social Impact in Public Service

What is the role of public service and active citizenship in social impact? Whether you are elected or appointed to office, an employee in local, state, or federal jobs, or simply a clear and consistent voice of the community at a council meeting– your work on complicated social issues can forward long-term social impact for the good of many.

Social Impact Lab: Design Thinking Session

Join us as we use divergent thinking and human-centered design to explore and prototype possibilities for the Ballard Center’s future hands-on impact lab for solving social problems.
